Fundraiser Info

If you are interested in helping with the Wolfcub Howl fundraiser race, meet at 12:45 PM in front of the school on race day (October 30). Any help is welcome and appreciated!

Have your child bring in money as she/he gathers it. We will be collecting money each day. Prizes will be given out as they are earned (except for the t-shirts--those will be given out race day). Two of the prizes are pictured above.

Questions can be directed to Beth Sluder.

Calling All Photographers (or those who like to take pictures)

source
The teachers have requested help with taking photos of field trips, holiday parties, assemblies, recess, special events, etc. These photos will be used in the year book and/or in the slideshow at the end of the year. The teachers take pictures, but it is hard for them to capture it all!

If you do take photos at the school or at school events, please be aware of the Family Rights and Privacy Act. There are several students who are not allowed to be photographed at the school, so please do not post photos anywhere without checking with the school first.

All photos taken will be screened to ensure compliance with the act.

If you are willing to help out, contact Jennifer Christensen.

2013 Fundraiser

The Wellsville Elementary PTO is so excited about our Fall Fundraiser! The
upcoming Wolfcub Howl Fun Run on October 30th not only encourages physical
fitness, but also provides us with a chance to earn critical funding for our school.
This year, PTO fundraising efforts will support the Accelerated Reader program,
help to provide emergency radios in every classroom, and fund the many school
traditions that make Wellsville Elementary so great. Please encourage your
children to “train” for the race by tracking their physical activity/exercise
throughout the month of October. Look for more information coming home soon about how funds
will be raised, how kids can earn prizes, and how YOU can get involved. Similar events around Cache
Valley have been very successful. We’re excited to establish a fun new tradition in Wellsville as we
dash for fundraising dollars! Look for race packets coming home on Oct. 16th. If you have questions
or would like to get involved, please call Trudy Constantineau

Fluoride 2013-2014

source
We have a new fluoride program this year! The new fluoride is a varnish. It is more effective than the previous method of rinsing. Another great perk is that instead of interrupting classes weekly for treatment, classes will be interrupted only twice a year.

This program is only $3.00 per student for the year.

Sign up by September 7.

Contact Jami Van Huss with questions. You can also contact her if you would like to help with the varnish application.

Wolfcub Pride!

Remember this year to wear your blue every Friday. You can wear an official Wellsville Wolfcub shirt or any navy blue shirt you have. One Friday of each month, all students showing their school pride by wearing the navy blue will get a reward!

If you missed buying a T-Shirt at back-to-school night, don't worry. We will have more orders this school year.
