This year, we are doing the Little Mermaid Jr.!

DATES
Here are the dates for you.

• Wednesday, November 15 @ 6:30 PM. MANDATORY parent meeting. One parent/guardian of the child who will be in the show must attend this meeting. If you cannot attend this meeting, you must attend the make-up meeting. 
• Tuesday, November 28 @ 2:45 PM. MANDATORY parent meeting make-up. You must attend ONE (only one) of the two meetings. If you do not, your child will not participate. 
• Thursday, November 30. Auditions for grades K-3. We will have sign up times available at the parent meeting. 
• Friday, December 1. Auditions for grades 4-6. We will have sign up times available at the parent meeting. 
• Friday, December 8. Callbacks. This will be an invitation only basis. We will contact you to set a time.
• Thursday, January 4. Rehearsals will start. Full cast will attend this first day.
• Tuesdays and Fridays: Most rehearsals will be on Tuesdays and Fridays January-March.
• Friday and Saturday, March 16-17: Show performances. There will be an evening show Friday, a matinee Saturday, and an evening show Saturday.

Here is a link to files of the songs for auditions on Google Drive. To know which song to listen to, click on the MTI Audition Central. Follow the link, then look on the right side of the page. Click on "Audition Central." It will tell you the list of characters, which song to prepare for that character, and the lines to prepare for that character. Next to the character you would like to audition for, click in the "Score" column. It will show you the title of the song for your desired character.

You can then choose that title in this group of files on Google Drive. Included in this group are two tracks per song. One has the singers with it and one does not. At auditions, you will try out with the track that does not have singers with it. That does not have any singers in it, so be sure to practice with that file, also.

You can view audition materials at MTI Audition Central. Follow the link, then look on the right side of the page. Click on "Audition Central." It will tell you the list of characters, which song to prepare for that character, and the lines to prepare for that character.

If your child does not have a song prepared for auditions, that is okay! We will have your child sing "Happy Birthday."

REHEARSALS

Rehearsals will be Tuesdays and Fridays. There will also be some Thursday rehearsals. The exact schedule will be given in November. Main characters may have additional rehearsal days or times.
